The construction of a new factory for thin-film CIGS photovoltaic modules is progressing rapidly and without delay. Located in the Jerzmanów district of Wrocław, the factory will be the first in Poland and Eastern Europe to produce solar modules using this technology.
What will happen in 2025?
We plan to complete the construction phase by December, so that we can introduce the machinery to the production hall no later than the first quarter of next year. Key equipment (such as PVD), which will ultimately operate in the new factory, is already being calibrated and tested at our headquarters in Żylice near Rawicz. This is intended to minimize the implementation period. We are also recruiting for key positions, primarily management. This new technology—in Polish conditions—requires longer training for new employees, especially since they will also be refining selected processes. Construction of the production hall is our priority, but a large office building is also under construction.

As part of the investment, Roltec will also rebuild przebuduje również jedno z głównych skrzyżowań przy ul. Piołunowej construct a sidewalk and bicycle path connecting the Żerniki and Jerzmanów estates.
Funding from the National Reconstruction Plan
We have been included in the ranking of projects submitted in the A2.1.1. call for proposals under the KPO (National Operational Programme) entitled Investments Inwestycje wspierające robotyzację i cyfryzację w przedsiębiorstwachpart of EU funding, we received a recommendation for PLN 24,421,386.17 in funding for the project " do projektu of a Smart Factory for Thin-Film Photovoltaic Panels, Including Investments in Digitalization and Automation of Production and Management Processes Based on the Industry 4.0 Concept." This extraordinary.
Wrocław - the city of the future
The capital of Lower Silesia has topped the prestigious "European Cities and Regions of the Future 2024" ranking. Wrocław proved to be an excellent place to do business, with significant human potential. The ranking emphasized that Wrocław is "the home of technology and innovation."This is where the majority of technology startups are created. Roltec's new investment fits perfectly into this image of the city. The factory, being built near the airport, within the WSEZ (Wielkopolska Special Economic Zone), will implement cutting-edge photovoltaic technologies.
