Construction of a thin-film photovoltaic module factory in Wrocław is progressing rapidly. Simultaneously, Roltec is constructing a completely new street in Wrocław—Dziewannowa Street—and will reconstruct part of Piołunowa Street. Sidewalks and bicycle paths will be built, benefiting residents of Złotniki and Jerzmanów.
A large section of Piołunowa Street will be rebuilt, with its load-bearing capacity increased to KR-4. A new intersection will be constructed with the new Dziewannowa Street (2KL-D), which will provide a new access to the Roltec production plant. As work progresses, Piołunowa Street will gain a concrete paving sidewalk and a bicycle path. The work already underway is comprehensive and will also include drainage, lighting, service channels, new lawns, and storm sewers. Dziewannowa Street, which leads to the entrance to the Roltec plant, will have a sidewalk on the plant side, and a turning area will be created at its end. The intersection of Piołunowa and Dziewannowa Streets will be crossed by a safe pedestrian crossing with a refuge.

Roltec is fully financing the cost of reconstructing Piołunowa Street and building Dziewannowa Street. Thanks to this investment, Złotniki residents will be able to travel more safely along Piołunowa Street towards the Leśnica bypass, where many of the shops they frequent are located.

The project's contractor, Rotomat sp. z o. o., has already begun fieldwork. Construction and street reconstruction are scheduled for completion in early December 2025.
