Glass Processing Engineer

We are looking for a Glass Processing Engineer who will be responsible for supervising, developing, and optimizing glass processing processes on a modern photovoltaic panel production line.

Your responsibilities will include ensuring the stability and quality of technological processes in the areas of washing, cutting, grinding, and drilling glass, as well as supporting operators and collaborating with other departments to improve quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Supervision and process control of washing stations throughout the production line,
• Supervision, development and control of processes related to cutting, grinding and drilling glass,
• Providing process and substantive support for machine operators,
• Conducting and organizing training for operators in the field of machine operation and process quality,
• Collaboration with the Quality Department in developing and implementing control procedures,
• Participation in optimization projects and the implementation of new technologies in the field of glass processing,
• Maintaining technical and process documentation.

Expectations:

• Higher technical education (preferred fields: materials engineering, mechanics, automation, mechatronics or related),
• Experience in working with glass or other materials (grinding, drilling, cutting, washing),
• Knowledge of processes and technologies related to the processing of brittle materials,
• Ability to analyze process parameters and identify areas for improvement,
• Ability to work with technological documentation,
• Experience in training operators and supporting production teams is welcome,
• Communicative knowledge of English,
• Good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and Word),
• Analytical thinking, independence and focus on process development.
