As a Structuring Process Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing technological processes related to the laser and mechanical structuring of CIGS (Copper-indium-Gallium-Selenide)-based photovoltaic cells on a modern production line in Wrocław. Your responsibilities will include developing the production process for laser and mechanical structuring of photovoltaic cells, monitoring structuring quality, and optimizing process parameters.

Responsibilities:
  • Participation in the launch of the production process of structuring photovoltaic cells,
  • Supervision of the structuring process and ongoing analysis of parameters and structuring quality,
  • Conducting pilot implementations of new processes on the production line,
  • Ensuring continuous monitoring of device status, identifying potential problems and resolving them,
  • Operation of devices supporting the assessment of structuring quality: devices for measuring layer thickness using optical and/or contact methods, digital microscope,
  • Close cooperation with technicians and operators to ensure continuity and efficiency of production processes,
  • Regular reporting of quality results and device status in the field of photovoltaic cell structuring,
  • Searching for new technological solutions and innovations in the field of photovoltaic cell structuring,
  • Continuous process development, collaboration with other engineering and production departments of the company to introduce technological improvements.

Requirements:

  • Higher technical education (physics, chemistry, mechanical engineering, optoelectronics, process engineering or related),
  • Practical knowledge of structuring techniques (laser and mechanical),
  • Knowledge and experience in characterization of thin layers,
  • Knowledge of the basics of photovoltaics and technologies related to the production of photovoltaic cells is desirable,
  • Knowledge of thin layer characterization techniques preferred
  • Very good communication and work organization,
  • Ability to work in a team, responsibility in carrying out assigned tasks,
  • English at a communicative level, enabling reading technical documentation and cooperation with an international team.
