As a process engineer on the magnetron spray line, you will be responsible for supervising and optimizing technological processes related to the production of photovoltaic cells by the CIGS method (Copper-Indium-Gallium-Selenide). Your tasks will include both the launch of modern production systems as well as quality monitoring and process parameters related to applying thin -layer CIGS coatings, which are crucial in the production of photovoltaic cells.

Dedicated responsibilities:

  • Ongoing supervision over the production process on magnetron spraying lines,
  • Keeping and updating technical documentation related to vacuum and thin -layer processes,
  • Registration and analysis of procedural parameters to identify the potentials of improvements,
  • Developing detailed operational and technological instructions for magnetron processes,
  • Solving technical problems and ensuring continuity and repetition of thin -layer processes,
  • Maintaining a high level of technical culture and occupational hygiene in a vacuum technological environment,
  • Cooperation with engineer teams and the Investment Department when launching and implementing a new production infrastructure of the plant.

Our requirements:

  • Higher technical education (preferred fields: material engineering, technical physics, electronics, mechatronics or related),
  • Practical knowledge of vacuum processes, in particular magnetron spraying methods,
  • Good knowledge of pressure units, vacuum levels and measuring devices used in vacuum technology,
  • Ability to distinguish and select the appropriate types of vacuum pumps and configuration of vacuum systems,
  • Knowledge of Magnetron power methods, types of target and parameters of their work,
  • Knowledge in the field of thin -layer TCO (Transparent Conductive Oxide) and the properties of conductive and semiconductor materials,
  • Knowledge of reactive spraying processes and their impact on the structure and quality of coatings,
  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office package (in particular Excel and Word),
  • Basic knowledge in the field of electrical engineering; SEP permissions up to 1 kV are welcome,
  • Communicative knowledge of English; Knowledge of additional languages will be an additional advantage,
  • The ability to analytically think and make decisions in technical and production conditions.
