Join the team at a modern CIGS thin-film photovoltaic panel production facility in Wrocław and participate in the development of the renewable energy industry.
As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for managing comprehensive purchasing processes and developing purchasing strategies that support the company's production and R&D activities.
Your work will significantly impact the plant's cost-effectiveness, supply security, and the further development of innovative technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • conducting negotiations and concluding contracts with suppliers, ensuring favorable financial conditions and minimizing risk,
  • purchasing budget management and cost control,
  • supplier market analysis and maintaining and developing relationships with key partners,
  • monitoring inventory levels and supporting the optimization of inventory management processes,
  • preparing reports and analyses of purchasing efficiency,
  • actively seeking and developing relationships with suppliers on the local and global market, including participation in audits and technical visits,
  • negotiating commercial terms and co-creating purchasing strategies for key material categories,
  • analysis of the market, trends and innovative solutions in the field of raw materials and components – also in terms of sustainable development,
  • optimizing the supplier portfolio taking into account quality, costs, timeliness and supply chain risks,
  • close cooperation with the R&D department in implementing new projects and components, and with the Production and Logistics departments in ensuring continuity of supplies,
  • conducting savings and development projects – from analysis, through planning, to implementation and reporting of results,
  • participation in projects related to the digitalization of purchasing processes and the implementation of new IT tools supporting the Procurement area,
  • preparing cost analyses, reports and recommendations for the team and global company structures,
    reporting on waste, carbon footprint and other indicators required by company standards and regulations.

Our requirements:

  • higher education (preferred fields: law, economics, management, logistics or related),
  • at least 2 years of experience in the area of ​​strategic purchasing, experience in a production plant or research unit is welcome,
  • experience in working with ERP systems,
  • practical negotiation skills and experience in conducting purchasing procedures,
  • good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel),
  • communicative knowledge of English; additional languages ​​will be an advantage,
  • ability to work under time pressure, punctuality and systematicity,
  • ability to think analytically, work in teams and make independent decisions.
