PV Module Testing and Characterization Engineer

We are looking for a PV Module Testing and Characterization Engineer to join our team. He will be responsible for overseeing the performance and quality measurements of photovoltaic modules and developing test and control processes.

Your role will be to ensure the accuracy and repeatability of tests such as performance measurements, degradation tests, luminescence tests, breakdown and leakage measurements. You will actively participate in procedure development, support operators, and collaborate with quality departments and the pilot line in implementing new control methods.

Responsibilities:

• Supervision and control of control measurements of efficiency and quality parameters of PV modules.
• Conducting and analyzing the results of module efficiency measurements.
• Implementation of degradation and UV exposure tests.
• Performing electroluminescence and photoluminescence tests.
• Conducting breakdown and leakage measurements.
• Development and optimization of measurement processes and test procedures.
• Creating and updating technical documentation and job instructions.
• Training operators and providing substantive support in the testing area.
• Collaboration with the pilot line in implementing new test methods.
• Cooperation with the Quality Department in the development and implementation of quality control procedures.

Expectations:

• Higher technical education (preferred fields: electrical engineering, physics, electronics, materials engineering, mechatronics or related).
• In-depth knowledge of the operation and characterization of photovoltaic modules.
• Experience in electrical and optoelectronic measurements, including electroluminescence and photoluminescence.
• Knowledge of test methods used in photovoltaics (efficiency measurements, UV tests, leakage and breakdown measurements).
• Experience in working with control and measurement devices is welcome.
• Ability to analyze and interpret measurement data.
• Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word).
• Communicative knowledge of English.
• Independence, accuracy and analytical approach to work.
