Roltec is a member of the Silesian Nano Cluster

The NANO Cluster's mission is to create a platform for cooperation between entrepreneurs, scientific institutions, public administration, and business support organizations to increase the importance of nanotechnology in shaping the future economic and innovation dimension of Silesia. Roltec has just joined this group.

One of the main goals of the NANO Cluster is to foster lasting collaboration between the scientific and business sectors, enabling the implementation of joint research and implementation projects, as well as the effective transfer and commercialization of their results within business operations.
The cluster will enable the creation of a multi-faceted collaboration platform that facilitates the effective connection and utilization of the potential of its members to promote and develop nanotechnology in Silesia. It will also serve as a discussion forum enabling the development of common positions on issues important to the nanotechnology industry and enabling the creation of the systemic conditions necessary for the development of research and economic activity in the field of nanotechnology at a regional level.

The above objective will be achieved by implementing the following specific objectives:

1. Initiating cooperation with public authorities and administration bodies to adopt new organizational, legal and financial solutions that support the development of entrepreneurship in the field of nanotechnology and serve the implementation of assumptions adopted in this respect as part of the regional economic and innovation strategy for Silesia;
2. Increasing the recognition and promotion of Silesia on a national and international scale, as a region that actively supports the development of entrepreneurship in the field of nanotechnology, and stands out from other European regions in terms of attractive conditions for conducting joint ventures by the science and economy sectors;
3. Conducting activities to strengthen cooperation among Cluster Members, and with the participation of other entrepreneurs and scientific institutions, in order to undertake joint research and implementation projects in the field of nanotechnology and effectively transfer the results of these projects to economic practice;
4. Supporting Cluster Members in obtaining external sources of financing for research, implementation, manufacturing and service activities based on the use of scientific achievements and the effects of technological progress in the field of nanotechnology, including, among others, funds from the state budget and foreign funds;
5. Promotion of the activities and achievements of Cluster Members on the national and international arena, including, among others, promotion of the results of research and implementation work, services and high-technology products delivered to the market, and dissemination of information on the effects of cooperative relationships undertaken with the participation of Cluster Members;
6. Building the image of Silesia in the public consciousness as a region focusing on the development of nanosciences and nanoeconomy, which will enable it to meet the new civilizational challenges of the 21st century.
