November 6th is a landmark day in Roltec's history! We are proud to announce the signing of a contract for our largest investment – ​​the construction of an innovative thin-film CIGS module factory in Wrocław's Jerzmanów district. This is a strategic step towards the future of photovoltaics and green energy in Poland.

PB Baumar will be responsible for project implementation . Thanks in part to their experience, the first factory in Poland will be built where CIGS thin-film modules will be mass-produced from scratch.

Roltec is setting a new direction for the development of photovoltaics in Poland. Our proprietary technology, developed in Roltec laboratories and on a pilot line, will now be commercialized. Eco-friendly CIGS module production not only offers a new level of quality compared to the dominant silicon technology, but also provides an opportunity to break free from the dominance of foreign manufacturers. We believe the Roltec factory will be a catalyst for the development of domestic technological innovation in the renewable energy sector.

The investment includes the construction of a modern production and warehouse hall with a technological annex, a staff area, and an office building. The entire project will be complemented by comprehensive site development and the construction of the technical infrastructure necessary to launch large-scale production. Completion of construction is scheduled for the end of 2025, allowing for a rapid start of production and the rapid market launch of Polish CIGS modules. We are confident that Wrocław will strengthen its position as a city open to modern technologies and will benefit from the creation of new jobs for specialists and graduates of renowned universities in Lower Silesia.
